An astronomer.
For some reason, my music teacher one day showed us pictures of the planets as they were then known (I suspect he was trying to get us to understand harmonies, but at 7? me - not the teacher.)
The very blurred picture of Saturn, with it's rings sold me completely and I was off down the library that very afternoon getting all I could on "space".
My parents effectively dissuaded me from such lofty ambitions and I eventually taking up a telecoms apprenticeship.
I go out most evenings these days and just look at the night sky for an hour or two. Without getting too Mulder & Sculley, there IS an answer out there, but what the fuck the question is, I've no idea.
